Those of you who are fans of the Grosvenor 25/25 Series have six events taking place in October. Premier League newcomers, AFC Bournemouth, have a new shirt sponsor in the shape of online gambling company Mansion Group.

Under the guidance of Eddie Howe, “The Cherries” achieved promotion to English football’s top flight for the first time in their 125-year history, a remarkable achievement considering the Dorset club almost went out of business in 2008.

Speaking of the sponsorship deal, CEO of Mansion Group, Sagi Lahav, said: “At Mansion, we have a fundamental belief in hard work and perseverance. Based on this, we have been impressed by the recent performance and promotion of AFC Bournemouth, and look forward to partnering with them for their first season within the English Premier League. We are excited to be working closely with AFC Bournemouth across a range of endeavours that will further enhance and develop both of our brands. This partnership will also allow AFC Bournemouth fans and our casino members alike, to benefit from the deal.”

This isn’t the first time that Mansion has sponsored a Premier League team. In 2006, the Mansion name and logo adjourned the shirts of Tottenham Hotspur F.C.

In September 2014, Mansion pulled its poker product from the United Kingdom after it decided the new licensing system in the UK – which came into force later that year – that applied a 15% Point of Consumption Tax on offshore operators, would make offering poker to UK residents a loss-making venture.

However, in May 2015, Mansion Group received a remote gambling licence from the UK Gambling Commission that allows Mansion Group to serve UK customers via its SlotHeaven, Club777, Casino.com, LesACasino and MansionCasino online casino brands

AFC Bournemouth’s commercial director, Rob Mitchell, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mansion as our new official shirt sponsor. This is a major commercial deal for AFC Bournemouth and we look forward to a successful partnership ahead.”

The newly promoted club starts its debut Premier League season at home to Aston Villa on Saturday 8 August. It is expected to be a difficult season for the club who are among the favourites to be relegated at the end of the 38 league games.
